On August 17th, I set out on the open road, well, not quite. We flew into Albuquerque, New Mexico, rented a fly-ass car and started our journey to Los Angeles, California. We didn't stay in Albuquerque long, we drove over to Walter White's house but the homeowners were sitting outside. Embarrassed, we took a quick drive by video and started our ride to our first stop on this trip: Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona. We drove down Route 66 with the top down, our hair billowing in the wind, not a human in sight for miles; we felt free.
I'll be honest, I was never a beach person until this summer. Partly because I hated tanning, but mostly because I couldn't find a proper swimsuit. I'm incredibly picky when it comes to most things, and swimsuits are pretty high on that list. I love to wear pieces that are unique, bold, and daring, something your average Joe wouldn't be sporting at the beach. (the Leo in me loves to make an entrance) This God Save Queens swimsuit is anything but ordinary. Paired with a floral kimono, this is one hot beach look that will surely turn heads the moment you step onto the sand.
