Palm Springs is HOT. The sweltering heat had us craving an ice cold pool, luckily our AirBnb had one right outside the front door. No pool day would be complete without instagrammable pool floats, of course. Thinking we could blow these bad boys up with just a foot pump, I ran to Walgreens to pick one up, which was a total waste of money. The foot pump barely put any air in the float, so a lightbulb went off in my head, to go to a gas station and use the air pump, duh! About $5 and an hour later, we finally had a fully blown pool float. Only problem was bringing it back to the condo.
I put the top down, and made due without seeing through the rear window for a few blocks, but unlike Los Angeles, theres almost no cars on the road in Palm Springs. The Flamingo was basically the same size as me. We struggled to carry it to the pool, but with much perseverance, we tossed it into the pool and dove right in. I've been waiting all summer long to wear my Bfyne uri swimsuit. Its a three piece strappy high waist bikini, with a mesh shirt to put over the bikini top. I'm obsessed with how versatile it is, take the mesh off you got a completely different bikini, or pair the top with jeans and heels for a night out. We smuggled a bottle of rose champagne into the pool area as "no glass bottles" was heavily highlighted and underlined on the pool rules list.
Drake and A$AP Rocky blasting from my laptop, we swam for hours 'til the cool desert breeze chilled the water droplets on our skin. It was time for us to pack up, and head to our next and final destination, Los Angeles.
